I have the DJI Spark which I fly with my Ipad mini 3 as a screen and it fits very well in the controllers arms.

On my Mavic Air However I use a newer Ipad Min 4 which is thinner than the Ipad mini 3 and while it fits well in the Mavic Airs controller arms it is rather sloppy in the grips because I think it was perhaps designed for the thicker Mini 3

Anyone else finding this and got any neat solutions

If you're not opposed to using a mount, you could use something like this PGYTECH mount:

I have that sort of thing but I like it in the grips just wanted to tighten it up a little so it does not fall out

Hi Bigplumbs, both of the Ipad mini 3 and the Ipad mini 4 are compatible with the Mavic air, please try to press it to make it tighter. Thanks!

I know both will fit. It is just that the reduced thickness of the Ipad mini 4 means it is a little loose in the arms and could fall out

There are some very thin cases on Amazon which will just about fit perfectly.

Use the mount.  It’s way more comfortable and easier to see while flying.

Also using a Mini4 on the MP.  As you say, the arms won't grip it.  My holder is loose on it too.  I'm on the prowl for some sort of material to wrap around the edge just where both mounts grip, preferably clear or translucent.

I disagree with that the arms are far better I have both

At last someone that understands what I mean. If you find such a material please post it here. It would be nice if DJI made some sort of insert for the arms
