I wish DJI would make some decent quality quiet props with colourful LED's like these, but for the Phantom 3 Pro and its series.


Normally I only ever suggest using OEM DJI branded props, but dang, these are cool. ;-)

There are RC helicopter blades with similar LED's, but much more sophisticated... Programable.

Or, You only need to find a private place to fly, in the country side ... Ha

For some, that is near impossible, I know. What a shame.

It would be nice if there was a Bluetooth remote app, to control the colours.
Surely you could go with one colour if that were your preference.

The LED propellers for the Mavic Pro is a great idea. I would purchase a set of these if they were redesigned for navigational purposes. Example: I set 2 propellers with RED Led only and 1 set 2 propellers GREEN Led. This choice would be much more compatible with Mavic Pro users. Still offer the existing full color prop’s for those who want that type of look, but again a simple Green (front) and RED (Back) set(s) would be more in demand for many of us pilots.

Give a whole new dimension to the footage.

Second issue is that they look best in built up area's with lots of lighting etc.
Those are not allowed here in NL too.....

Well you can't very well record video in the darkness.  The city or county lights give it life.

If you lived in the country, you could fly freely after sun set, but not for recording memories.
That must be done during the light of day.

I'm fortunate, to live in the capital city, which has huge green spaces. Not including large parcels of public parks, lush manicured grassy sports fields and lots of crown and private land.
We also have an amazing North Saskatchewan River valley.
The North Saskatchewan River is a glacier-fed river that flows from the Canadian Rockies continental divide east to central Saskatchewan, where it joins with another major river to make up the Saskatchewan River. Its water flows eventually into the Hudson Bay.

That's a great idea, and good for you, in contacting them with your suggestion.
I hope they can accommodate you. Perhaps even if only for a one off. ;-)
But it makes complete sense to me. Hopefully it's something that they will pursue.
Make them optional, or atleast remotely adjustable.,

They are multi directional, so I aim one forward and slightly down, while the other is directed towards the rear of the aircraft and slightly down as well, making them more visible from below.
I also have the Lighthouses, and use the Blue and Red coloured filters for great effect, in one of several strobe modes.

Yes, what's the point of stealth props that light up the village?

I like lots of light on my drone, so that doesn't bother me, but the noisy props need quieting for sure.

For the price( $26 USD per pair) I couldn't justify having them since I usually don't fly after dusk.

Glad if you enjoyed the post, but it's not my video production. I only wanted to bring attention to these props, in hopes that DJI might consider making some, particularly for the Phantom 3 line.

I would prefer to use OEM DJI props, so my request was made. ;-)
