Hi all.
I have a question. Flying my air in FCC and it only connects to 2.4 Ghz.

I have flown my spark, still a few days ago, in the exact same area with FCC also, and it always connected to 5.8Ghz.so it can't be the surroundings...

Does anyone have the same occurrence? Could it be the latest version DJI go Android app?

I have to custom choose 5.8Ghz.
My father in law connected his air in CE mode and connected to 5.8Ghz,yet when he flew it FCC (same area) his air also connected to 2.4 only...

Any opinions?

Same question.  I don't see a place to change the band...it just lists 2.4.

I am having the same issue. Any suggestion for a fix.

My guess is : Mavic with RC is 2.4 GHz only. 5.8GHz may be allowed when you put the bird RF system selection switch to Wifi (but who does that...?) and fly with phone only...

Go into the wi-fi settings and go to Manual mode. Then scroll left until you see channels 145 and higher. Select one of the 145 or higher channels and you are on 5.8ghz.
