hi guys i need help becuase my phantom 3 std are having delay about 1 to 3 seconds i already enable hardware decoding and im turning on airplane mode but still having a slight delay
is it working if i use otg in my ipad trough phantom 3 std remote.

Try reinstalling the Go app.  That might fix the delay.
Airplane mode is good. Are all other apps or programs force closed?
Only the Go app running...

yes i already reinstall the app, all apps closed, hardware decoding enabled, airplane mode and i already reset the drone i already calibrate the gimbal, etc

Try it with hardware decoding off too? ;-)


When you reinstalled the Go app, you first deleted the app also Internet cache and cookies, then rebooted the device, before reloading the app, correct?

Switch off the video cache saves processing time.

im using ipad 2012 i dont have cash to upgrade then, yes  i already switch off the video cache is it normal having delay on phantom 3 std ?

Can you be more specific on the iPad model?  I use a iPad mini 2 wifi only and have no delays or any other issues.

The OTG isn´t able to reduce the delay time,while only WIFI is for the image transmission and IOC upload to the copter available on P3S system.

Hi there, the P3S does not support to connect via OTG for now. As for the delay issue, could you offer more details? Does the issue appear recently? What's the specific type and OS of your iPad?

I think if that system op to date then the newest OS is in version 9,not higher. I´ll have a look onto my wife´s iPad. It´s the same.
Err did you activate the airplane mode and start the WIFI manually again? That mode saves processing power too.

A quarter Giga Byte isn´t  enough to process much data that the copter sends down via RC. The iPad´s processors must allocate and free the RAM more time than 4 times as an actual iPad.
If you have a friend who has a better iOS device you can test the performance with that. You got luck to get the Go app runs on your Pad.

It's all down to the iPad.  Yours isn't up to the task.
DJI Go is very hungry and just doesn't run properly without a good tablet.
