I own a Samsung Galaxy note 3. No problems installing DJI go 4, but problems loading the simulator in the Academy. It simply close down and gives a black screen.
First I thought it might be a problem with the wifi. Then I bought a cabel - still the same. The phone are set to have 10 minutes to close screen.
Hi, I would recommend you use the recommended devices when you use our app. Or you can use DJI Assistant 2 to use the simulator. Thanks for your support.
Samsung note 3 is official named Samsung Galaxy note 3 and is is among recommended devices:
Sorry for my mistake. In this situation, please tell me the version of your app. I would forward the situation to our engineers for further check. Thanks for your support.
I also have a Note 3 but the video feed is constantly breaking up to the point that half the screen is covered with multi colour rasters. The lag makes it unuseable at about three seconds. It is currently on Lollipop and i cant upgrade past that point without doing something funky. i just decided to buy a used Ipad2 mini and this seems to work really well.

Note 3 is a pretty old phone and is probably unsupported by now.
You could try to download a older version like 4.1.15

Take a look at the 4# before You comment.
DJI GO 4 did support the note 3: it worked well before. But after so many updates, it is now slowing becoming unsupported. You can try to downgrade to an older version like 4.1.15
DJI has a natural focus on the essentials - the software for flight.
But when publishing a list of devices that are compatible and it turns out that many find that simulation does not work, DJI has not done their work well enough.
One has to expect that a company like DJI has mobile phones and checks the software before it is released.
The solution is NOT to downgrade.

From your video, you connect your RC with OTG cable which is not supported now. Did you have the same problem when you build up wifi connection?
@DJI Elektra, On a side note, your list of compatible devices is largely outdated for both iOS and Android. You should get your compatibility tests and list updates faster.
