i can only make some guesses to start: 1, could have been your sensors reacting to direct sunlight causing the drone to think an obsticle is present resulting in hard breaking
2, you might have hit a bird (but got lucky to survive) in which case i suggest that you do a physical inspection. check the motors are all turning normally - none of the props are damaged. open and close the arms to see that they are all working properly.
3. it could be a glitch but we do not heard about such a situation much (at all) so my guess is either options one or two.
if you see evidence of physical hit - then asses it and deal with it accordingly
if you see no damage and the drone continues to fly fine then keep your drone close to you the next few flights -
if your drone is flying fine and you observe no damge then you should be fine.
