Recommended hard case for airline travel?
Uploading and Loding Picture ...(0/1)
o(^-^)o
I've got the new Phantom 3 (pro) and am looking for recommendations on a good hard case to bring the phantom on a plane.  As I already travel with a camera, this would be an additional bag and need to be checked.  So my ideal hard case would be:
- A quality hard case that protects against damage from routine luggage handling.
- Lockable.
- Fits the Phantom 3.  Ideally, it would be precut to keep things simple.  And even better if I can store with props and prop guards attached to avoid setup/breakdown time.
- I know I'll need to carry the batteries in my carry-on, so not too worried about that.  But would be a plus if a good 4 batteries fit (for when I get to my destination).
- Budget is less of a concern than the above.

Thanks for any advice!

I would suggest this one:  http://goprofessionalcases.com/s ... gpc-dji-plus-3.html

Go Professional Cases are not the cheapest...  But they use real SKB cases and they are very well designed.

Check this one out: http://silverstatecase.com/product/pelican-phantom-3-case/
Custom foam for the Phantom 3 inside a Pelican iM2600 case. Looks small but the drone will actually fit inside with the props on. Can't beat a Pelican case.
