I wanted ask does anybody know if the phantom 4 plus controller work on the phantom 4 pro ac?

The 'plus' controller is on available with the P4A and P4P models and the standard P4 controller is not compatible as the P4P uses HD WiFi (dual frequency).

If you're asking if Phantom 4 Pro+ controller works with Phantom 4 Pro aircraft, than the answer is Yes. However, If you're asking if Phantom 4 controller works with Phantom 4 Pro aircraft, the answer is No.

The Phantom 4 Advanced+ and the Phantom 4 Pro+ both come with the same remote controller (model GL300E). That remote controller is compatible with all Phantom 4 models.

OK, so this issue is a bit confusing ... Is the + controller compatible with P4 aircraft model which was introduced about 2 years ago? I don't think so, but perhaps I'm wrong. For sure it is compatible with all recent Phantom models (Phantom 4 Pro and Phantom 4 Advanced), as confirmed at DJI Store ...

Just to clear out the terms, there is no drone named Phantom 4 Pro+ or Advanced+, there is only a Pro and Advanced, it seem that this is the cause of many confusions.
The + is solely telling that he controller used is the one with display build in and by that a version of the App that often differ from both the standard Android and iOS versions.

It was about the time late last summer when the support for the standard P4 was implemented many in CE areas started to have problems with range on 2.4GHz, myself included.

While that's factually accurate, people will most often say things like ''I'm flying a Phantom 4 Pro+'' or a ''P4P+'' instead of ''I'm flying a Phantom 4 Pro with a + remote controller''. Also, DJI makes the same references in a lot of their documentation. For example:

There are 3 drones:

• Phantom 4
• Phantom 4 Advanced
• Phantom 4 Pro
  

And 4 remote controllers:

• Phantom 4  (GL300C)
• Phantom 4 Advanced (GL300C Ver.B)
• Phantom 4 Pro (GL300F)
• Phantom 4 Advanced+/Pro+ (GL300E)

Hi there, the only difference between P4P and P4P+ is the built-in RC. You can link RC if changes to another P4P aircraft. I'll attach the video for your reference:

Not true.  Nothing at all is poor on my P4P+
