Using my drone to asses the flooding river Trent and to see if my honey bee hives need moving to higher ground. It's a great feeling when things go to plan and all is safe but looking at the caravans thats almost under water.

It is a little unclear how far the hives was moved, they are hard to spot in the movie but i sure hope not to many bees has got lost after the move.
Nice example of practical drone usage btw.

Aloha Paul,

Wow, big problem!  Those bees are critical if the news stories over here are accurate.  Good to see you could use the Phantoms to get you that information.

Plus, it was an interesting video just showing the extent of the flooding.  I hope things are getting better and dryer!

Aloha and Drone On!

I love honey. Eating a lot of it everyday.
I think it's a beginning to magic potions for and through my taste buds.

Where are those hungry bees of yours located now? Let's see a follow up video... Thanks.

Thanks for your feedback KedKD,

I was not to happy sending the drone up to start with has the wind was very strong and I didn't want to loose the drone, when I saw how the water around the hives I flew the drone back and started actions on saving the hives.
They are all safe now and ready for the spring flowers. Thanks for your comments and thanks for watching, a follow up video is ready to see.

Thanks RedHotPoker,

Ive uploaded another video but it don't show where the hives are now but where the hives was, I will take another video and show you where some of my 40 are located. We have had a long winter this year and the weather here is just starting to turn for the better, the bees are now starting to forage so the honey will be flowing about the end of June.

Thanks for the interest in the bees.

What i would worry is that the bees can get lost due to much movement, but i think you already are aware of this. Are they still in hibernation?

Think i would add the follow up link for you, nice work.

Yes I replied to that new post, about one minute after the above request.

Thanks.

Can we meet the bees? The queen anyway. Chuckles
