drone deploy sees the maps ok just cannot connect to the bird. Will have another go at it when i get time.

Update. All 3rd party flight apps are now working

Hey dji. Tell the techinicians that are busy working on this issue not to worry. We worked it out. Cheers

someone said something about using the Amazon store to get litchi and force closing all DJI software then using a usb to micro usb cable to plug the controller into itself to fool it into spawning the popup to ask which software you wanted to use. Select litch and it worked... easy.
Clear as mud.

Good fighting, now you just have to make a nice step by step ''how to''' in the tutorial section for all the other + owners.
How much space remain on the controller, guess you have not tried expanding the internal SD?

Thanks. i had to delete a few apps like wechat to make room for google play. However, its seems you can use the amazon app now for Litchi, if thats all you need.  I will try and explain all soon but need a little time for testing  before a new dji firmware update stops it all from working.
Yes, you can use external SD as expansion if you want.

dont need to force close anything. Plugging in the usb cable spawns the popup window.  its pretty easy. even i can do it

Well I'm not buying Litchi again just so I  can run it on underpowered hardware.....If the folk who wrote Litchi gave me an amazon key or something then maybe just for fun.

Just curious but why do you have SuperSU installed. And I was able to install Google Play Services but it just quits all the time. Couldn't run anything.

super su allows you to root the device. Then install google services via chainfire & opengapps.

cant remember where i found it, just search the net, its there somewhere ;)

this will give you a good idea of how it all works. Obviously a little different to CS but this is the guts of it.
