I can only add, for safety and/or travel reasons, purchase and use LiPo safe bags.  If I'm not planning on using my LiPo batteries -whether for the quadcopters or my RC cars and Trucks, I store them in LiPo bags.  Over the winter months I also place them in ammo containers (available at places like Harbor Freight for around $15).  Just another level of safety for some batteries that have very volitile chemicals.
