Hi,
I just bought a DJI Mavic Air and captured few 4k MOV files but not able to playback using Mplayer, VLC or Qtime player. The video is very laggy.
I have also tried using 5k player but the result still same. I'm using Macbook air to view the video.
Pls help to advise any recommendations, thanks.

What Sd card are you using. for 4k your sd card has to have a minuim write speed of at least 100mbps

Import directly from the SD card and edit in iMovies

I'm using 100mbps card and able to playback the video file on my galaxy note 8 but not on my laptop

I don’t have any problem playing back on 5k iMac, you might need to give it some time when loading decent processing power helps.

Loke, please try to store the video in the internal storage then move it to your PC. You can also change another PC to check. If the issue persists, I suggest uploading an original video to Dropbox for further confirmation. Thank you.
