Hi all, I have started using DaVinci Resolve, previously used iMovie and Final Cut Pro X. I always found there was a lot of juddering previously but with DaVinci Resolve this is no longer an issue! Really happy with the improvements!

Yeah for sure its insane, for something that is free! I very nearly purchased Final Cut Pro after trialing it but glad I didn't now!

Never used it but the footage looks very good and no harm in my giving it a try - thanks for posting

I had never heard of it either but I read a few things online about iMovie and a few other bits of software not setting the project to the correct framerate where as DaVinci Resolve does do this

The only thing I think might be an issue is that it doesn't allow you to export in 4K on the free version, not 100% sure though as I don't record in 4K lol!

Not 100% sure but a quick look online I have seen a few people yes it does.

One of the strenghts of DaVinci is the color grading feature. I recommend you to experiment with those functions to give a more professional look to your videos.

Cheers dude, yeah that was the next step for me, I had a brief look at that area but it made no sense ( new to video editing etc )
