I wonder two things... 1 will they make a lens wider then the 16mm (basicly a 24mm) like a 8mm or fish eye?

Or

Make an adapter to put other lenses on the X7 dl mount for other lenses like canon or similar.

If any one has any ideas...I would love to hear them.

Sorry that X7 is only compatible with four prime lenses made by DJI and the wildest one is DL-S 16mm F2.8 ND ASPH Lens, there is no adapter for the third party lens, please note the future release in our website, thank you.

Thats unfortunate as that 16mm (effecting a 24mm) isn't wide enough to make it useful for photographers ultimately moving away from this product all together (inspire/x7) I have a fish eye that works with the x5s but would like more detail of the x7. Yet another shortsighted product by DJI.

I'd give it time. 16, 24, 35, and 50 cover basically all your standard ranges in cinema with S35 sensors, which is what this is targeted towards. It wouldn't surprise me if they came out with a 12mm or 85mm over the next year or so. I'd say it's more probable a wider lens comes out first as trying to operate on an 85mm lens from the sky would be one hell of a task.
