I have been looking around and have seen most people say one of the best if not the best accesory are ND Filters. I have seen a lot of good reviews on polar pro. However there are four sets of which im unsure which is the best. I live in a desert location, so the top 3 areas/geographic locations easily accesible to me would be: desert, woods/forest, and beach. These are the ones I have seen recommended, but if you guys have any other suggestions, Im open to hear about them. Trying to keep cost no higher than $100.

Set 1: Vivid Collection ND4/PL ND8/PL and ND16/PL ($79)
Set 2: Shutter Collection ND8/16/32 ($79)
Set 3: 3 Pack PL, ND8, ND16 ($49)
Set 4: 6 pack PL, ND8/PL, ND16/PL, ND8, ND16, ND320 ($99)

(all sets can be seen on amazon)

Here are a few videos that explain why you'd want to use filters:

Check out this article for more details on benefits of polarized ("PL") filters.

IMO do not get a kit with rotating polarizers. unless filming professionaly, you will not spend the time re-adjusting the polarization effect everytime you change direction with your drone. I ended up using only the ND ones...

Exactly... CP filters make absolutely no sense with drones. Even ND ones have very limited usage.

So if i reading this right, dont worry about the polarized lenses, save some money and just get the ND filters? Like set 2 or 3.

I was limited with money so I opted for 2 ND filter but I didn't had the occasion to test them yet. I bought them mostly for snow so I will see if it is indeed useful or not.

Correct, polarizer filters will remove glare from reflecting surfaces and will create more saturated / vivid colours but:

1. The look is sometimes unnatural as water - for example - is reflective and our brain is used to that

Thank you for advices. This looks like the most useful information on the topic of filters, that I've read yet.

I bought a six pack of Nd filters for my mavic pro.
Most I used so far is nd32 and nd16pl.
Still don’t understand what the CPL filter is for though...

I use the shutter collection. If you live in very sunny area, you will need at least ND32 on a bright sunny day.

I have the six pack. It is super helpful. I use mostly the lower-light polarizing filters since I don’t fly much at really sunny times, but I still use the others quite a bit. Highly recommended!
