In DIJ Go 4 app, Flight Records there is a line titled Footprints and shows flags of the countries you have flown in.  What is the minimum requirement to get the flag...start up, lift off, fly a certain distance or height???

I think, but could be incorrect, that simply shows the various countries that you have flown in.  For example, mine shows Mexico and United States.

Well, I think I said that in my initial post...what I'm trying to figure out is do all you have to start up, get a home point, lift off or what to trigger the new flag.

I think, it needs the GPS fix and whatever gets you  a flight record.
I have never tried to find out what is enough go set one.Maybe starting the drone, leting it fix the GPS, starting the motors is already enough?

Or even switching it on on the transit airport, with propeller off, fixing the GPS and 'you are in a nfz, cannot start ac' ?? ;-)

Hi, all. If you want to get the flag, please connect your drone with phone and it will record the place when it has good GPS signal. Then you can take off the drone without mounting the propeller. Thanks for your support.

One start up with GPS connection is all it requires..

Going to Europe in a month and hope to get 8 or 9 flags!!!  And actually fly...

I just got my DJI Mavic Air a few hours ago and i have flown it a few times with no problems; Although when I check my footprints it still doesn't even show one flag...

Just sync your flight records with DJI and your flags will appear.

Weird today I sync flight records and an extra flag showed up . I googled flag as didn’t recognize it , flag is from Equitorial  Guinea on West African coast. I am in Australia and have Aussie flag as well as Indonesian flag as I have flown there. I have flown in New Zealand but didn’t get a flag and started drone in Malaysia with props off and didn’t get flag ( didn’t fly as was told by police couldn’t around Petronas towers.) However have never been to the African continent so not sure how I have got Equitorial Guinea flag????? I did lose my phantom 3 18mths ago it shows on the phantom 3 page could my old drone have been found and someone has taken to Africa and somehow my sync has got there details. ??  Can’t explain weird! Any suggestions?

I've recently flown in Switzerland, and my Mavic Air has been able to receive GPS data from satellites. I've turned off my smartphone data connection in order not to pay connection fees there. Once again in UE, I've turned it on and synchronized the DJI GO 4 app, however it seems I haven't get the Swiss flag on my footprint records.
Any idea?

Yep hit sync button an your footprints should show aswell as update your experience points took me a few weeks for that to sync in lol

I’ve flown in UK, Italy, Croatia, and Portugal but flag is not displayed. A Canada flag is displayed but I don’t remember being there or being close to the border.

Hi,

This should fix your problem in, gaining country flags.  

Login and go to flight records
Then by dragging up flight from the bottom.

Upload your flight records. Once done at 100% then push DONE ✅
The flags should then appear.

Hi, I live in first Chinese city next to Macao. Currently I can not cross the borders and I am wondering how to get Macau flag I know I need to take of in that country to get it, but do I need to Power on my drone and take off as the first take off during the flight or is it enough if I fly from China over the border (100m) land and take off from Macau like this?

Sorry, I don't know.

Connect it all up, turn it all on, get a home point on the map, arm the motors to begin the flight counter, disarm the motors (not need to take off) shut down. Then save the flight record in the flight centre. You've now 'flown' in that country.
