Hi to everybody,
i started to make 4k movies with my Mavic Pro and i saw an unaccettable video noise (like a photo taken at 32.000 ISO or more). I set the camera in manual mode and set 100 ISO.
I didn't use any ND filter and the scene was very sunny.
I can understand the video freezing due to the very high speed of the shutter but i can't explain why i have so much noise.
To give you an idea i post a frame of the film.
Do you think it would be a problem due to wrong setting of the dji camera? in case can you help me in the right setting?

Yeah what is your sharpness?  Plus 1 starts to bring in noise.  I keep my settings at +1,-1,-1 with ISO 100.

Take a look at this video.  He explains it really good.  

Simply put - 60MBPS is too compressed for 4K. Coupled with a very fast shutter speed in bright light conditions and that is what you will get. Invest in some good quality ND filters to increase the f stop and drop the shutter without over exposure and reduce the sharpness a little in your profiles. As for the rest that will come down to how you edit your work in post with noise reduction. 4K on the MP is usable but it seems to be optimised for 2.7K IMO.

The answer is simple I guess. The camera can record in 4k, but is really not suitable for it, due to the 60Mbps limitation. With no ND filter, it is not at all good in bright light. Instead, try (with filters and correct settings) to shoot at 2.7k at 24fps. It gives a completely different result.

Lorlenzo, please refer to the suggestions above, try to adjust the sharpness. If it is the same situation, please provide me with your original video so we can help to check the settings. You can upload the video to Dropbox and paste the link here.

Today i'll receive my new filters and i hope i can  try all the settings you suggested during the WE.

Just a bit of info for you. For the best image go for 1080p@30fps for that extra detail go for 2.7k@24fps.
