Flight Check List(S) for IOS devices.

What you think about creating and manipulating Flight Check List(s) with your device ?
No more paper or stickers on your remote controller.

You even do not need to download the app.
Look for the app "Reminders" on your device. It's already there.

Both DJI-Pilot and Reminders are running at the same time on my device (Ipad Air).
No issues toggling between the 2 app's.

Dundee you are one of about 2 or 3 people on this forum that really makes it useful.  Just wanted to say thank you for all your input and help.  DJI should make you guys moderators and give you a paycheck!

Good idea.

You could create a checklist in say MS excel and import it into the iOS device and it can automatically create a new checklist with Check Boxes in teh Apple Numbers version that you can tick by just tapping on the box for that check item.  Using your method you would just keep that checklist as an open tab on the iPad.

Is this what you are referring to ?

Well just FYI, the three people I was referring to when I was giving my thanks was you (Colonel Angus), RichJ53 and Dundee.  You guys not only have a keen insight into the inner technical workings but also go out of your way to share your findings and try to help others.

I know a lot about RC planes and helicopters, but these new models have so much technology packed in they are more like flying computers than simple aircraft.  It is a learning curve for most of us.

Images in the first post are broken for me. Can't see them. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, exactly. "Reminders" is easy to use, light weight, and doing its job perfect.
You can also tick by just tapping on the box for that check item with the Reminders app.
Looking for simular app for Androids.

Tip: I use this app on the 2th. remote also for the camera man.

I am always online in this forum.

Still busy with troubleshooting and testing better ways for the "Live Streaming"
Current approch of streaming to Youtube in the latest FW has some drawbacks.
I will post my findings and solutions on that soon. Keep watching

Hey Scott,

Thanks to Dundee we have a new task setting up our electronic reminders..  

So I am setting mine with the things I felt are important (everybody will be different)  and guess what.. I am 12 items down on my new list and forgot something that needs to be close to the top. Don't panic and start deleting all your hard work.. Select done at the top right of the app, then hit edit (in the same spot) and you can put your finger on the right side of the item in the list and move it up to the spot you intended. Pretty cool.

Hope this helps others that are forgetful like me

Great idea Dundee. I've been trying out multiple checklist apps but have yet been able to find one that we can cut and paste to. My thought is from time to time our checklists change thus having cut and paste capabilities would be nice when we make changes.

Dundee I cant seem to use Shou... i have the app but its not giving me the option to record. = ( i dont think they allow that app to be use with new users....

For Android checklists I use GTasks for all kinds of things. And now I'm using it for my preflight checklist thanks to this suggestion.

Great thing about GTasks is that it syncs with your Google account. So you can make changes to the checklist(s) from any device or computer and it will be reflected wherever you access the checklists. Not sure if it works the same on i-devices but this is really important for me because I want to be able to update my list whenever the idea comes to me, not just when I have a specific device on me (I use so many).

Wont work on either the iPad or the iPhone...same with others...you must be lucky...they seemed to have have killed it...try dl it..you will see

Shou works for me on iPad 2 mini.

I don't always use it but it works great when needed.
