I am sure you will think of a few, but this near new VW Amarok retails for $55,990 here in Australia became yet another victim of the Mudlo Rocks at Rainbow Beach Qld on the beach road to Noosa.

BTW - there are 2 amazing videos below (these are not mine) in this post which you will not believe from the same area including 4wd rolling off barge and 4wd and caravan slipping into sink hole!!

Yes first video after a 4 month break. But I did not star in it! Many people like to go round these rocks at low tide which means driving through the surf. Some don’t make it! It is a gazetted road names Mudlo Rocks Road but at times of the year it is under water! As these generally occur when the tide is coming in the vehicles are left to the sea while the tow truck driver waits the next low tide!

Thanks, it’s amazing how much you forget. One of the biggest worries was ensuring aircraft software upgrades didn’t introduce issues. Seems like latest update only has some minor display issues.

Here is a non Mavic video of some of the other 4WDrivers at Mudlo Rocks. Look closely at the Rocks they are bouncing through in the deep water, easy to get hung up on your diff housing!

How the hell did that get in there, great footage. No more drones in the seas now VW is trying to fly over the Ocean

Driving in tricky conditions at location which is known to bite the unsuspecting or foolish 4x4 drivers is unbelievable. It's no different to flying drones when you think about it - Proper planning prevents poor performance or loss if you prefer.

That’s a good point. Always have a backup plan, if none avail, then think again before you proceed!
