I did a quick flight in the back garden and one of the rose branches cought the blade. She went down from about 3 meters and had to crash land on the only hard stone in the garden. Stupid mistake.

Now my question is, it looks like a solid frame and not user repairable. What would be my options to get it fixed?

Ouch. I've had my spark for a week and your photo and story make me feel nauseated. I can really see something like that happening to me. Let me know how you get on with dronedoctor, especially how much it's going to cost.

Its going in today and will get an quote. Will keep updating here. So far very impressed with the service.

I think its going to be close to £200. Most of the other quotes I got was around there.

I might even check if I can do it myself if I get time to research in how to do it.

Oh yes, but this is how it works here in the UK they only change the pound sign from $ to £ haha. I will see how much it costs otherwise I might have a go at the repair myself.

Wow!  £200? I did try to research fix it myself, the parts replacement cost half of what send out repair. In the end I think it's better to have professional have it done

I will report back on how much they going to charge me. I just had a look and the frame on ebay is about £40.

I broke both front arms damaged a motor need two new props,the top cover, and a LED cover under the motor.  $90 for all of it, done by DJI.

That sounds pretty cheap. I doubt those of us in the UK could get it for the same price.

They charge $65 an hour for labor so really the repair was pretty cheap.  It is nuts that you guys can't get the same price.

Drone was posted yesterday so will see if they get back to me tomorrow.

Ok some feedback. The communication and speed of what they are sorting out my drone is amazing. In the end the frame and a motor cover and diag to make sure there is nothing else wrong costed me £140 including priority shipping back to me. I was waiting on a goo £200 bill. They also transfer the labels and sticker from the old frame to the new one.

Highly recommended.

Meh, i had the same type of crash with all three of the cables snapped (the motor was like 1m away of the drone).
Some glue and solder and she flys beautifully !

I replaced my frame myself.  It was a LOT of work, but I got away with spending about $60.

You could glue it back, you don't need bench , just some epoxy

I had a look at the glue option but the frame was not joining up perfect and was not keen for any misalignment and funny vibrations.

I do remember the times I rebuild allot of my heli's when I had allot of time. Now kids=no time haha.

Ah I see. It was a LOT of tinkering to be sure. You probably went the better route.

Fix it yourself, and you are back in air in 10 minuttes, instead of waiting 4 weeks for an repair... Just plastic weld it with a soldering iron, take a look at my post... But ofcourse if you are that kind of guy who just cant stand having an AC with scars on ot after an repair, then just ignore my reply

Repair only took 4 days. Any replacing the frame is not going to take me 10 min. Dont want to glue it as I dont want any misalignment or vibrations.

Just got news. It took them 3 days to repair. In all include postage fee to & return $122 with new frame and LED cover mount. Can't wait to fly again

Thanks for keeping us updated. It's nice to know the drone works well now. Enjoy it and fly safe!

Mine also arrived today and going to do a quick test flight when I get home.

Did all the calibration and a 10min flight all is good. I am very impressed with the guys service and communication. Five stars from me.
