If anyone needs one please let me know - The DJI Inspire 2 Battery Ejector / Hot Swap Tool allows the user to eject the batteries from the DJI Inspire 2 drone individually. User will be able to “hot swap” the batteries meaning they can swap a depleted battery for a charged one without having to turn off the drone. This eliminates the downtime of having to restart the Inspire 2 and having to wait for the GPS acquisition, IMU warm-up processes etc. to complete. Just swap 1 by 1 and fly!

You can just push the battery eject button and hold the one battery in and remove the other.  Then do the same for the other side to hot swap

Does it reset the battery information in DJI Go4 to update your anticipated flight time and battery charge levels?  Also, reset the recorded flight time?
This would come in very handy if it works, as every time I power up the I2 in cold weather (usual in MN), the camera doesn't want to connect to the aircraft.  However, once it is powered up, it stays good.  So, doing this would resolve that issue, but would need to know battery levels (accurately) to fly.

While this is a great idea, the idea is concerning considering the batteries are in parallel. Does the inspire 2 have circuitry preventing cross feeding? Or is there massive inrush of current from the charged battery to the discharged battery

Hi PilotSmith, Do you still make these battery swapping tools for the DJI Inspire 2? If so how much would you change for 2 of them?

PilotSmith shouldn't be taking credit for it nor should he be selling them. I created and posted this design several years ago on Thingiverse >> DJI Inspire 2 Battery Hot Swap Tool
