Hi folks,
I'm a new owner of  a vision2+ and am a bit confused by all the updates available. Should I download vision assistant v 3.4 to update the firmware or can I use my existing v3.2? ( and surely v3.2 would be updateable to v3.4 or do I have to treat it as a brand new software? )


A definitive "how to" guide would be great- sequence of connecting, switching on/off disconnecting etc.  There are several threads here on these updates and I have read them all, but it would be great to have the entire process all in one place (for me anyway!)

Try to Update your batteries to rel. 2600 with 3.2
Athen Uwe 3.4 for all Otter updaten.

I updated everything in 3.2

And the batteries in 3.2?What you have now?the 2.0.0 or 2.6.0?

my batteries are 2.0.0.  so what is the difference between assistant 3.2 and assistant v3.4 and which one should I use? my drone flies great and I am nervous about making anything non functional ie reports of camera gimbals not working etc. to recap, my drone is vision 2+

DJI can you advise please? 3.2 or 3.4 and do I update all items or just the firmware?

As a new owner of a Phantom Vision +, I would like to add my name to the request concerning which version of the software to use.  Having just bought the device, the last thing I want to do is make it unusable by not being able to perform a proper firmware upgrade.

Phantom 2 Vision+ Assistant Software v3.4 is the newest software. If you have older battery's I would advise in holding off upgrading them.
I have heard of problems with the older battery's. The rest of the upgrade is working now. At first there were problems and
DJI has corrected the issues.

hi HD-ultra. I see you lost your gimbal in a previous thread- this is what has bothered me about this update.  Have you fixed it?

It's recommended to use the latest version software and do the upgrading.

Thanks Blair , I will have a go at this tomorrow- just hope the gymbal doesn't fail as so many others seem to have done!

No not yet, Going to try the updated software now.

3.6 worked for me, checks updates everything but the GPS.

No the update did not help at all. There is still no Zen IMU update. And my gimbal is still dead no life and the red light of death.

For me the update works but i dont know for the h3-3d because i dont have in connection (i'm wait the gopro4 black).

I just downloaded and ran the 3.6 assistant.
The first thing it did was pop up with a must do advanced IMU calibration warning.

GPS does not require updating to support any new features.

That would be me dreaming of a GPS firmware update that helps it actually work, instead of requiring users to open up the new unit and void their warranty by adding additional shielding.

im running multiple GPS pucks across multiple aircraft without issue. If you have interference issues which require "shielding" then firmware will not fix it. thats a hardware resolution.
contact DJI support or your dealer and they will help you without having to void warranty.

and also removed the 3.2 version now. good this I still have it installed.

As I mentioned in  the "concerning" thread, DJI are re-issuing software quicker than I can download it! I am on 3.2 and downloaded 3.4 yesterday. Now I see v3.6!!! should I wait for tomorrow's version?  I am getting progressively nervous about applying any of these updates until DJI have settled the assistant software down a bit, there are obviously ongoing issues to cause so many short spaced updates.. I don't want my hard earned $3000 investment scooting off into the sunset anytime soon!

With the V3.6 software, you can upgrade the battery firmware.
