Hey everyone!

Night drone photography is a topic I've wanted to discuss for a long time now, finally made a video about it!

Here are my settings and a few tips for capturing some stunning night shots with your drone!

In Germany its not allowed too, but in Swis. I´m planning a drone-weekend there this year. :-)

Yeah, when seen from this point of view.
But I like roadtripping around and from my hometown its not that far away - about 2.5 to 3 hours.

Awesome tutorial.  One question.  What ISO do you suggest for nightime.  And also do you suggest just single shot, HDR, or AEB?  I have a MP if it makes a difference.

you have given nice tips about night photography which I have used in my apple support product that is iPhone X and it worked and I shot fabulous images from it in night

To avoid noise in your images, always go for the lowest ISO possible, so 100.
And I only shoot in single mode, and if I want to create a panorama f.x. I stitch the images afterwards in post. But for regular shots, just stick to single shot, I found it works the best for me - there's no need for HDR or AEB during nighttime. Good luck

Awesome very good info.  Very helpful.  Yeah was sure during day/dusk/dawn to use ISO100 but just was not sure at night and you answered that.  Great stuff.

I do like night Photography.  But to stay within U.S. rules, the drone is out.  Darn It!

I have always believed that tripod mode only reduces the sensitivity of the controls, nothing else.
Perhaps the title is misleading (tripod) implying that somehow, the stability of the drone regarding movement is better, when it actually reduces heavy handed stick movement to that of gentle ones, of a skilled pilot.
Is this right?
