I finally found a sunshade for the Nexus 7 on eBay. Offered in choice of white, gray or black. I think the white looks best because it matches everything else but wondering if white plastic shields the sun as well as black plastic. Anybody with experience here? Should I get the black or the white? I definitely don't want the gray.

If the inside is black (preferably mat) then the color outside will not make any difference. The less the light is reflected on the inside, the better. So darker non shiny surfaces are what we need.

There is no lining inside. It's just white plastic all the way through or black plastic all the way through. I'm pretty sure these are being 3D printed.

I'm guessing the plastic is more shiny than matte but not quite glossy, so sounds like black is the way to go here.

I have just bought one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251610 ... =STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT  on ebay, for the price, you can't go far wrong. It is black, non reflective, cheap and folds flat. It's ticking all my boxes.

Did you get it yet? From the pictures it doesn't look like it attaches very securely. If you already have it, what has your experience been?

What are you using it with? The Nexus 7 is a 7" screen, I wonder if this will be compatible with my tablet.

It should be with me next week, for my nvidia shield. It attaches with Velcro straps. With it being made of cloth I think it will be somewhat forgiving, size wise. I will let you know how I get on with it.
