Hey all, just wanted to share my flight checklist with any who are interested. I hit "Add to home screen" and placed it in the "drone" folder on my iPhone so it's quickly accessible. Hope the checklist provides value for some peeps! The picture below is just a screenshot of the checklist. The downloadable pdf. version can be found at www.letusdrone.com

Only thing on that i would look at changing would be changing calibrate compass to check for error messages

I would add a "Check that camera settings is correct" in "Before takeoff"

And first entry in "Once landed" would be "Check that recording is stopped".

I agree, compass calibration is not needed for every flight.

1. Take off before GPS lock from something made of metal. You don't need to check rotors, they look fine.
2. Fly as far and as fast and as high as possible beyond line of sight.
3. Ignore any warnings seen.
4. Have accident.
5.  Request and be refused replacement drone.
6.  Come to forum and start thread,moan loudly about crap DJI drones and poor customer service.

Sound about right?

In this case you're right, the last part of 0 is important. Save the time, roll the dice and jump straight to 6.

Only major thing that jumped out at me is that I had no idea baout NOTAMS ... so have done some research. Much appreciated.

This is a bit dated, copyright 2018.  They sent me one for free in 2016 and it spelled satellites wrong. It also said "calibrate GPS" which is not right.  I would hope those errors are corrected.
