Hey all, just wanted to share my flight checklist with any who are interested. I hit "Add to home screen" and placed it in the "drone" folder on my iPhone so it's quickly accessible. Very good list.  I have a really bad habit of forgetting to take the gimbal cover off.    So my list is very specific.  Secure Battery in Drone, REMOVE GIMBAL COVER,  power on.

But I got a LoL out of While at Home - Firmware / App updated.
I have done that 1-hour before flying.  Verified updates were installed.
Walked outside, powered up drone, RC, and Smartdevice only to see a notice about an Update.

What about put Tablet/Pad/Phone in Airplane mode before flight?
After flight, put back to normal mode.

I feel this is one of the most underrated but important steps to be honest.  I completely agree this should be on the list.

Haha very true. I may need to add "Firmware / App updated" in both sections ;)

Also set the mobile to record screen to easily see important on-screen telemetry...

One more: Carry extra micro-SD cards in case of extended flight and no way to fee space to an external storage device

I just got to throw this one in - Rt_MF.

Read the blanking Manual First!  

(Should make a few around here their - day)

There are things on this list which I would not do.
WILE AT HOME.
Update app.
Update firmware.
MISSING.
Charge device. You don't fly so much on low battery device.
BEFORE TAKEOFF.
Calibrate compass.
Don't do this if the app don't tell you.
Almost half of  tread about flyaway and crashes start with: Updated my FW  and app, calibrated compass before fly.
What I do is opening the IMU and Compass page and see if something is wrong.
If compass is off try to move the drone before calibrate.
ONCE LANDED.
First ensure footage and videos are ok before turning off.
It can save a lot of time later.
