Thank you!, as for the rules in Indonesia it is not as strict as it is in the US or EU, you can fly above ppl here and they won't complain (of course you still have to use common sense and use your best judgment) ppl are more "friendly" towards drones here, you can also fly at night and near buildings with no problem (again, use common sense and your best judgment), don't fly over temples (but I've seen lots of aerial videos on YouTube featuring temples, and it was uploaded by Indonesians too, so I dunno) but beware when playing drones in areas such as near shopping malls, the security staff may forbid you doing so, I have experienced this about 3 times at 3 different malls (they got scared that I was spying their mall/work for their competitors I presume). specifically in Thamrin street, where Selamat Datang monument's at, there's a special rule to not fly over 100 meters high (helicopters often fly low around this area). you may wanna check on this link : http://jdih.dephub.go.id/assets/ ... it's the official rules and regulations about usage of drones in Indonesia, taken directly from the government's website, ask your wife to help you to translate it
Oh wow. Thank you that's fantastic info!! |
