Well I lost connection with my drone yesterday evening, I could not find it so I gave up looking,  thought well it's a goner, but later in the evening a kid showed up at my friends where I was flying it at with my drone and said he googled it and he said the drone took off from his address. we’ll I would be interested on how he found it on the net, I tried  to no avail -Anybody out there know where he found this info? Just curious.

Myself I'm starting to think he downloaded the info off the SD card on the my machine, because I cant find diddly squat anywhere on the net using my FAA#, He just told my friend that he "googled it"
I would think sombody on this forum would have known something and chimed in by now.

Short of googling what the Spark is and that it has a memory card, then looking on that memory card to see where you took off from.... I'd like to know how the kid did it.

Found the person that Found my craft and just as I thought he looked at the memory card and recognized the area and just returned it. I guess my friends wife saying he googled it came from him saying he tried that, he also stated calling the FAA being my number was on there but said that was a joke no help there.

He may have watched the video on the SD card and Googled a map of the area from where it had taken off then ended up at your friends house by luck. That is if he lives nearby or you were flying at that location?

Possibly the geolocation tag in the pictures?

Said he recognized skate park a block away from my friends house, The finder's home is about half a mile away from launch point.
