I downloaded the firmware, but I couldn't install it. It kept failing, and now my device is constantly solid red in the light.

I had the same issue with the solid red light. I turned Bluetooth off and on then opened the DJI app. I started my osmo and saw it in the list of devices in the app and connected. The firmware updated correctly after this. Hope this helps someone.

Well, I should know this, before doing any update check on Google and here for any issues. Sorry, But DJI may need to do more testing before sending any firmware update out. So many people have these device and now they can not use them, and DJI is not saying anything about it. Sorry, but it looks like DJI support is not as it was. Its funny that no one from DJI support is helping. This has been an issue for more then 2 month.


I will now see if I can return the one I have, as I have only had it for about a week.

I purchased the Mobile 2 a few days ago... on first startup it said an update was needed and I simply did it. It flashed for only a minute or so then was good to go!

Стабилизато после обновления 2.2.0.30  перестал двигаться за моей рукой вверх  - включилась блокировка горизонтали !!  не могу отключить !!!  что за хрень ? как прошить старую прошивку ?

Updated no problem, but pocket seems to have stopped remembering previous settings between power ups. I was shooting a short film and had it set to mp4, uhd, 29.97, but after powering down and back on it switched to 1080 29.97 mov. Ruined an entire day of filming.

My device was working fine last weekend...today I try to connect my osmo to iPhone X...and the red light says on.  The phone and osmo connect with the Bluetooth but that’s about it. No movement any help from anyone?

Two friends still using DJI Osmo Mobile have updated firmware 2.2.0.30 and now have two paperweight. The Gimbal flashes yellow and no longer stabilizes. The wonderful thing is that DJI does not offer anything to reverse update and consumers are empty.
