Strange. I'm in the UK and I still see 4.2.8 on Google Play.

There already have been published several versions of 4.2.12 - the latest build came out today is 577.
They are coming like a pancakes out

Thank you. I suspect the Android 6 version still is 4.2.8. For you and a my friend (his Samsung is Android 7) is available DJI Go 4.2.12, but for me and other people who have Android 6 or previous, is 4.2.8 in the Play Store.  

I'm seeing DJI Go 4.2.12 on Android 8.1.  Haven't updated yet, but looking forward to the OTG fix.

I'm on Android 8.0.0 in the UK and the Play Store is showing 4.2.8 for me.

Galaxy S7 of my son shows 4.2.12.
My A5 2017 shoes 4.2.8 in store.
Smartphone Type matters, not Android Vers. ... I think.

very interesting like dji now will be pushing updates only on the supported android phones.

Also over internet just 4.2.8 at offer in playstore

But playstore via internet and computer, without login to gmail, even there it is 4.2.8 only

So does this mean DJI officially supports Spark OTG cable?

My Computer shows only 4.2.8, too ...

Yes it is specifically OTG support for SPARK  the android version is 4.2.12.   I am using an OPPO mobile Android ver 5.1

I am also running 4.2.12 now on a HTC 10 and Android 7.0

HTC One M8 Android 6.0 here, 4.2.12 update just showed up for me. I don't think there's any big conspiracy, it just takes a while to show up for every device in every country.

I got the 4.2.12 update last night on my S8 and wanted to try the OTG with the OTG adapter supplied with the S8. However the phone will only charge the RC when conected with the USB. I can't change my phone's USB mode to anything else. How should I connect my phone?
Normally I use my iPad mini with OTG. There I just plug the cable in the RC and accept the popup saying it is an unsupported device. Working straight forward, but not the case for my Android yet.

My Redmi Note 3 Pro pops up a message everytime i hook an OTG and asking me to choose how i would like to use it. By default it's Charging Only so i change it to "transfer files and data" mode and everything works fine.
At last! OTG is back. Thanks DJI. Waiting for the DNG support as well!

Not related to Android version.  Keeps coming and going.  If you're not willing to wait, do a search and find an .apk to download/sideload.

Updating my yesterday post - 4.2.12 (577) is now available in playstore in Poland - downloaded and installed (Redmi 4X, Android 7} sucsesfully but not tested yet.

Understand but the OTG adaptor/dongle has to be plugged into the controller,  not the phone. I have a Note8 and used my old OTG plug from an S7 for a few days (plugged into RC) and it worked great. It will not work with the OTG adaptor plugged into the phone.

Today for me is available the 4.2.12 version in Play Store. My smartphone is Samsung J7 3GB Ram and Android 6.0. I'm using this version and DJI Mavic Pro cable, because had mechanical desconnection with OTG USB and cable USB.

Please keep us updated, if you have any problem. Since OTG is not fully tested, please be careful when you use it.

Para mim é te 4.2.12 a versão melhor e segura lançada de todos. Apenas a distância e interferências Wi-Fi veio uma desconexão, mas nunca perdeu o sinal de vídeo

Sorry, I wrote in Portuguese... For me is te 4.2.12 the better and secure version released of all. Just distance and Wi-Fi interferences came a disconnect, but never lost the video signal

4.2.14 is out on my S7 edge and tab 2 tablet

The release notes say optimized OTG performance, but you say it is not fully tested. What is the exact status of OTG in case of waranty?

The release note was changed immediately. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Our engineers are still working on it. Thanks for your patience.
