Curious to see how far people go to fly.  I'm not talking about going on vacation or a weekend trip, I'm talking about everyday flying.

There is no 50km + as an average

I live in a rural area where you have so much space, nothing around for miles, bush and lakes and plenty of hills.

Most of my flight locations are within a 20 mile radius of my home.

I voted option 2 but I often drive 25+ km.

About 9.5-meters from garage overhead to pad.  Unless I count distance from house door into garage on out to pad, then its about 17-meters total.

From my doorstep to > 100 km.

I have to walk 5 houses down the street.  My house is that far inside the NFZ for Disney World.

I have several places within 1 mile of my home where you can fly out. I sometimes fly from my backyard and across the street located at a neighborhood recreational area. I'm lucky where I live that there are no high trees or obstacles to worry about.

They need to down-size Disney World's NFZ to where its at park boundaries.
Its not like Dumbo actually gets more than 20-feet off ground.  

I walk right outside my door, but when am going for distance flying I drive about two miles.

The issue is the FAA did not create the NFZ or it would be more practical.  Congress did it in a Homeland Security bill.  Problem is, as usual Congress is ignorant and stupid.  They drew a 3 mile circle around the Magic Kingdom.  You can still fly over the south corner of Epcot and completely over Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.  They are not in the NFZ.  Now, reality is, that would be near impossible keeping the drone in LOS and Disney won't allow you to take off or land on their property.  The entire NFZ is just ineffective and only there because Disney wanted to find a way to stop the banner planes and skywriters from advertising over the park.  They paid off a few politicians and called it a security issue.  Sorry, but a Cessna loaded with explosives can reach the Magic Kingdom from the edge of the zone in about 60 seconds and there is nothing deployed to stop it.  Again, just a nuisance NFZ that should be removed.  The fact it extends 2 full miles north of actual Disney property, over my neighborhood but doesn't cover the other parks proves it is a typical Congressional boondoggle.

It really depends.  Sometimes I will fly not close to home sometimes I will fly close to home.
