So I updated the firmware last night to V01.02.0100 and now my landing gear will not raise, either manually nor automatically. Anyone else having this issue? I am in the process of back-dating the firmware to see if that remedies the problem. Keep you posted...

Is the controller linked with the I2? Maybe try a relinking of controller/aircraft

I actually did a factory restore of the firmware for the I2, pulled out the original controller and linked it, then it worked. I turned around and re-linked the Cendence controller, and it worked as well. Nect I'm going to tre updating the Firmware and see if it will work. I appreciate you getting back to me. I'll let you know if it works out. I can't stand unexplained quirkiness when it comes to several thousand dollar aircraft, messes up confidence in the systems...

I do not believe that it was a firmware issue as much as it was that my Cendence controller needed to be re-linked to the Aircraft. Thank you bobo for the advice!
