Thanks A CW. The drone was in ATTI mode in some of the flights and it was extremely difficult to film those places.

Aloha OOO,

Wow, you are the perfect videographer for the perfect place!  You deserve each other.  There would be no justice if it was not you in those mountains!  The music really helps to!

You are right to have us watch it in 4K.  The clarity really helps.  You create a really good product.

Aloha and Drone On!

Thanks DEUCEDOG! Yes my friend. I had following issues while flying in those places:
1) In some flight  while the drone was in VLOS it didn’t respond to my inputs for 2-3 minutes. It was very stressful since the drone was drifting by wind in this cave-like place.
2) Almost in all flights I got “maximum flight altitude reached” message. IMO, If you start in places where GPS signal is not available it won’t ascend. I had to go some other places where GPS signal is OK and then come back to initial launching spot.
3) Many many close calls and mini crashes
4) Frequent magnet error messages while flying very close to some rock walls. It usually disappeared when I moved away from that particular spot.
5) Hitting the water with the landing gear

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! The drone was launched in 7 different spots in two different canyons including bottom and top of the canyons. In some spots I had to hand launch the drone.

Wow! Thank you my friend. What a beautiful comment. I’m just a hobbyist and really love these flying cameras.

Aloha OOO,

Well, you really need to look into turning this into a career.  You are a natural.  This last video is over the top good!   The music really helps to, so you have the talent for the whole product.  You could assemble your best and any new videos into a portfolio and get funding to publish a collection of videos.  But keep that in reserve until you learn how the video marketplace works.

The tourism authority in Turkey, or a province, may be interested as well as any tourism companies that want to advertise the beauty of Turkey.  You would have to look into the market for tourism and adventure videos in Turkey.  They will know about how the work is distributed, so that would not be your problem.

Whatever you do, do NOT show your best work!  Keep it in your portfolio with no copy except those saved on devices you control, and make sure they are backed up twice on at least two different devices.  There are people out there who will steal your work so you do not want to put your best work out there until it is protected and insured as good as it can be.  If you are not a certified commercial drone pilot and/or videographer, you will need to look into that.

You will have to show a set of your mid-level sensational videos in the process of shopping your work around.  Do not even indicate that you have better work anywhere because some people will try to con you out of it (lying is normal).  Your work is even talented enough that an investor, agency or company will have special music created for your videos or buy copyrights to compatible music.  Your current music may have copyright problems so your current videos may only be demonstrations of your talent.

Once your mid-level work is sold and you are receiving income from it, then start including your best work, one at a time.  Fortunately, you have a lot of depth so you can do this, very few others can do it.  And we are always here to give you free advice because we believe in you.

Hope this helps!  You have an amazing talent!

Aloha and Drone On!

Cetacean, I really don’t know what to say! Thank you very much for this detailed explanation and kind words. I keep raw files for all my flights but only one copy. I’ll make another copy. I have a full time job and this is my hobby but who know may be one day... Your comments are the most valuable reward for me.
IMO, my photography and filming skills are still very premature. I’ve decided to buy my first full frame DSLR. I’ll wait for Nikon or Canon to release their full frame mirrorless camera. Otherwise I’ll buy Sony 7r3. Do you have any suggestions for landscape photography and astrophotography? Camera? Lenses?
Again many thanks my friend. I can’t find an appropriate word to describe my feelings for your comment. This is a very nice community and I’m very proud of being a member of it.

Aloha OOO,

In my opinion, you are sitting on gold.  When you want to cash it in is up to you.  None of the cameras and other equipment are going to help you make better gold than you are already making.  But when you decide to start a career in aerial videography, you will have a head start and you will have to follow some well calculated steps in order to succeed.  There is not time like the present to get started.

So are you certified for commercial operations in Turkey?

Aloha and Drone On!

Thanks Genghis9! Noah's Ark  Do you think it is somewhere around here?

Guess it was an inside joke with me...isn't Mt Ararat in Turkey or on the Border of Turkey, I believe that is supposed to be the resting place of the Ark.  Soo, seeing you hale from Turkey and you were filming in the mountains with some great shots by the way, and I figured why you are at it you could get some great shots of the Ark.
Long story for a short flat joke...great work regardless!
