As our American cousins would say 'freaking awesome' I too enjoyed every single frame and not too long at all. The opening scene just typifies Ireland at it's finest, natural beauty, soft and welcoming. The music was well suited, so for me fabulous work. Well done indeed buddy.

Some very short piece with Mavic Pro , I set out to use MP, but was having horrible tilted horizon, should have done gimbal calibration before I left, however I had MavAir with me so 90% with MavAir.
I will hold on to Mavic Pro until M2 arrives, will sell it then. As a flying machine it’s very reliable.

I find the MavAir very easy to use , gimbal is great camera is on a par with Mavic Pro but 100mbs seems to help with end result, it’s a bit noisy I suppose compared with Mavic Pro, but because it’s so tiny most people don’t mind so long as it’s not in their ear, I tend to do early mornings or late evenings so it’s not really a problem.
Distance wise I have never had a problem but again if I want to shoot 1500 metres away I tend to trek closer to the shoot, I find you always get much better and correct footage if you can see both drone and screen, mainly because your orientation is much better.

It’s definitely worth the money and if the M2 ever arrives I think having both will compliment.

Thanks for the insight mate - I'll let you know what I decide. The horizon tilt issue with the MP is one of it's biggest faults due to the gimbal - I won't sell the MPP until the MP2 arrives but the MA does look like it has some great features that I could use for sure! Will also be easier to take with me to Cyprus in May.

Went to Apple in North London this evening and bought the Mavic Air Fly More Combo in Arctic White. Charged it all up, updated and set up everything and not a single issue so far. Will be taking it out tomorrow evening with 3 fully charged batteries and will let you know how it goes. It looks awesome I must say. In a strange way it reminds me of a mini P4P due to the backward OA

I've read the manual already and all set for tomorrow. Smart capture looks a lot better than the Spark but it's the 100MBPS in 4K (no more compressed artifact), 2.7K @ 60p, full slow mo in FHD and 8K pano's that really interest me.. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun and as I got 1KM with my Spark where I'm going to fly I can't see this being a problem but will hold off on range tests until I've built some confidence in it and fly in a more appropriate location. The latency when waving at the camera in my living room and looking at it on my iPhone 7+ is almost instant so that's a real positive to start with. Overall first impressions are excellent! It looks like it's in a class of it's own - neither a Spark or MP - something totally new. Fingers crossed on the maiden flight/s tomorrow.

Could I ask which editing software you used to produce your clip!  And opening scene I assume first light, soft light and visually appealing, I loved it.
