Has there ever been a recorded drone flight, not too far off the ground, during an earthquake?  I've never experienced an earthquake of any real magnitude and I've always wondered what the ground shaking would look like from a camera that wasn't attached to something involved in the shaking.

Maybe DJI could set up an automated drone in a high seismic region of China, where it would take off an hover as soon as an earthquake was felt.

I should probably clarify here - my curiosity is with actual drone footage DURING an earthquake, not after the event.

In well built area such as Japan, the footage would not be as dramatic as you'd imagine. Event at 9.0 magnitude, you'll see buildings swing slowly as seen . You would of course see dramatic buildings collapsing in less well built area under strong shaking.
