We are rolling out a public safety drone program. Our Inspire 1 and Mavic units need to be ready to respond to emergencies. Showing up with batteries that are at 50% won't be an option. Can I get a recommendation from DJI on how to maintain the batteries, (at least two) at 100% and the other five can be at 50% and charged enroute and on scene.

Thanks
Roger

The smart batteries for the Inspire 1 and the Mavic have the ability to self discharge after a period of time. They discharge to a voltage that is safe for long term storage. You have the option within the DJI Go App to change when the battery starts the discharge process.

Power up your Inspire or Mavic, turn on your RC and launch the DJI go App. Go into the Camera view. Click the settings menu which for Android is located at the Top right . Tap on the Battery menu. Tap Advanced settings then change the "Time to Discharge" to 10 days.  You will probably have to repeat this process for each battery. Once the settings for each battery has been changed all you need to do now is hit the power button on each battery before the 10 day period to reset the timer. You do not have to attach them to the drone. Just tap the button to check the voltage on each battery and you should be set for another 10 days.
