Thanks! I look at it this way, I'm comfortable flying it and have some trust in the equipment. My biggest reasoning is if it falls 200 feet onto land or water it's pretty much done for either way right?

One again a very nice video. Feel free to add some vertical shooting (90° tilt).
During a fade between 2 sequences, you should cut the first one earlier : some unwanted quad movements are visible during the fade effect ;) (example at 4:14)
Appart from this, very very nice.

Yea I caught the dissolves after I exported and was too lazy to go back lol. Spent all weekend camping and I'm beat! Good thinking on the vertical shots, I'm usually shooting straight ahead so I can see what's in front of me!

Beautifully done, and good point about it crashing...water will be like cement from 1200ft.

What editor were you using??

I've heard there can be problems flying over water (with the VPS on?). Did you turn VPS off? Any problems?

As far as I know it was turned on, I didn't mess with the default setting and I believe that is on. I didn't fly lower than 5 feet though.

I work mainly in Premiere Pro CS6. Color correction, and some vignetting. I have a subscription for audiblocks which has some great music for projects like this.

I just got word that a local agency wants to highlight the footage on their facebook.

Unique color.  What are you using?  Some preset in the phantom?

Great shots. Thanks for sharing.

The biggest concern I have is why the horizon line (camera) isn't level. It's way low on the left in 80% of your shots. Is there a fix for this? This is a real deal breaker for me. You shouldn't have to slightly enlarge and rotate your footage on every shot to get a "professional looking" level scene when editing.

Thanks again for sharing your flight!

I think I replied to you on YouTube. But it seems to be a known issue with the IMU calibration. I have run the settings and have yet to have a chance to get back in the air to test it out and see if it fixed it. I'll let you know soon if it does.
