Hello I want to know if dji osmo mobile 2 supports 4k resolution for my lg g6 ?

I would recommend you take it to the retail store and see if osmo mobile supports Lg g6 4k resolution. Sorry that there are so many Android devices and we can not test them all. Thanks for your understanding.

unfortunately, I can not check it because the gimbal is available only in the online store. I thought I could help someone who has gimbal and lg g6

osmo mobile 2 supports in my lg g6 maximum 1080 30 fps. Do you plan any updates up to 4k or 1080 60 fps?

It was not available on my LG v30 through the GO app. I switched to an iPhone 8 + so that I could have access to more resolutions.

You're right,after a few days of using the gimbal I have to say that the dji app is useless because the quality of the films is very poor

Its a bummer I know. Luckily I had the ability to upgrade my phone without any cost so it was easy for me to switch, but that might be the case for most people.

Hope you get your situation figured out.

Use can use the phones camera that shoots in 4k but you wont have access to all the controls on the OM2. The shutter button, zoom in and out, but the joystick will work to move the gimbal up and down. So you could just hit record on the screen of your phone and then record away. Good luck.

hi, i understand you but i will be very happy to add 4k / 30 fps resolution or higher bitrate in 1080 in my lg g6

LG G6 still dosn't allow a resolution higher than 1080p unfortunately on the DJI app and the Osmo. However if you want ultimate resolution and pro functionality get Filmic pro, it works great with the Osmo and the LG G6 even with the wide angle lens.

End of January 2019. DJI Osmo 2 still not supporting 4k on LG v30 (phone made for video content), I suppose the same goes with v40, g6, g7, ect. Pretty funny. I saw a comment of a dude - "I switched to iPhone 8+ to get more resolution" hahaha. I rather switch dji giant corporation, not being able to support top flagships what a joke
