Password problem

I bought a phantom 3 off a work colleague but I can't get logged in to phantom wifi,I've followed all the steps and when I input password 12341234 I get authentication error.any help please

Whoever you bought the Phantom from must have changed the default password.

To reset the password back to default (12341234), follow these steps.
Turn on controller, turn gimbal dial to far right, and while doing so toggle S2 back and forth at least 3 times.
Remote will sound long beep indicating the SSID and password for WiFi video downlink has been reset. Restart the controller and try connect again.

Don't forget the S2 switch is the one on the left - that's caught me out at least once

I've tried to reset remote by holding gimbal switch fully to the right while toggling the s2 switch,I'm led to believe that the red and green lights should blink.this doesn't happen,no blinking or no sound of any kind.i got a number of passwords of the guy I bought it off,no joy.the guy is genuine and is as frustrated as me

It's the Rd that he used,don't know if taking the drone from England to Ireland has any bearing on the problem
