I haven't used my phantom 4 for awhile so i new it had to be updated.  It updated the drone  great but now when i connect to dji4 app with my rc i update the rc. I go into the app and where i click on the red exclamation it takes me to a black screen. I tried going on assistant 2 but it can't read the version on my drone and won't let me go back to factory.  Please help

Are you getting any error msgs or just a black screen?

No error messages.  Just go into the app. It says I Ned to update firmware.  I click on it. Takes me to system status.  I click on the red exclamation and nothing.  Just a black screen

Hi there, the RC of P4 does not support to upgrade via DJI Assistant 2 for now. Could you read the current RC version in About page? Please try to hold the three bars on the right upper corner to update to see if there is any difference.

I tried doing that in the go app and it did nothing

Also where is this rc version about page?

When I go into the about page on the app I have version 1.9.2 for the rc and it says the drone version is unavailable

When upgrading the RC make sure your AC is powered off. You say you did try the tap and long hold (5-10 sec.) on the top right corner settings '...', what happen when you release again?
It seem that several has been able to upgrade using that method, i think GO4 has some issues in the current version that does it has to be done that way at the moment.

I will try that when I very home but before when I hold the top right corner and release nothing happens.  Just says on the main screen

When I try to downgrade to 1.8.0 the ac beeps at me and does nothing or when I don't have the ac connected it just says update failed

So I downgraded to version 1.5 something and still can't find any rc update.  Still a blank screen under status.  Please help is there a number I can call for support help?

Is your app updated?, should DJI have changed location of the firmware stuff, an old app can't find it.
