At last the UK weather allowed me to take my mavic air out for its first proper flight.
Near my home is an abandoned victorian pier, its very difficult to get to as it sits in an estuary that has the fastest moving tide in the world, which means you can get there but then you have to stay there for 12 hours (maybe one day).
But i used the drone to get some footage, still learning but the 4k footage on the mavic is great.
I wish it was as quick as my old phantom but you cant have everything.

Sadly the lifeboat havent used for several year due to the safety of the structure. They now launch from a trailer on the mainland.
It looked like the walk way on one side of the pier might be viable and the station looked like it was current (the radio masts etc.)
Yea we have a number of places like that here on the BC coast, very impressive to watch! A few of them produce monster standing waves that people like to surf with kayaks and SUPs.
