I visited a model aeroplane club yesterday. We were speaking about maximum altitude being 400ft when one of the guys said that big planes have a minimum of 400ft and that there was no buffer zone inbetween. So take care all you idiots that break this rule and spoil it for others. Same goes for the 500 metre rule. Just walk a bit further to your point of interest.

what happens if you are in a very remote area? not that I would break the rules for the simple reason that flying to the full altitude is as far as I am concern is useless, but watching these tutorials on utube some say that you might just need to in order not to crash your drone.

I take offence to that. I fly quite some distance when in remote areas and at 120 meters altitude. The idiot are those that do fly in crowded areas and where they not supposed to. Do not just label everyone the same
