After doing some research I found a nice place close to where I work that was as legal as I could find an interesting place to film.
It is a small village called Wilp-Achterhoek and there is a nice old 'co-op' where farmers could bring their crop.
(it is still in use today by a company that sells animal feed)

This time my Mavic actually did about what I had in mind most of the time (or I could translate my thoughts into finger movements), although  I had to re do some shots.
All in all I had a superb time and Mavic performed very good

Nice and smooth! Im guessing its legal to fly out in the country? I'm going to visit my cousin in Schagen this summer it looks like a pretty small town surrounded by the countryside.

It is hard to find 100% legal locations nowadays.
Best to stay away from anything man made for about 50m (horizontally)

Other than that, nature reserves need a permit, so effectively that is NFZ too.
And almost every group of trees larger than 10m2 is a nature reserve here in NL

And of course, check the NFZ map https://kadata.kadaster.nl/dronekaart/

Having said that, there is enough left if you do some planning

Taking advantage of the good weather indeed and taking some time to practice
Today is a NFD (No Fly Day) since I left the MP at home.
No area's I can fly legally nearby where I work today.
So I brought my DSLR

Off days can be good breaks to obtain different shots on your DSLR and then edit the two together.

Also nice to do

I am envious of how well you smoothly glide the Mavic sideways and when moving vertical keeping the subject in frame as you record.

I had to try that several times, but apart from minor changes in the speed I was pleased by the outcome
The music was made last saturday on a hot evening with a cold beer

In Belgium, you can go to 10m height..the legal settings. Nice to stay under the radar!
