We use precision farming on our place, tractor has autosteer system using differential GPS and the planter and seed cart are fully precision farming compliant so it can automatically adjust seed and fertilizer rates dependent on GPS location. Depending on distance from our portable GPS base station which we set up in each paddock before we start an operation, accuracy is between 2 to 5 cm across the entire field. The only issue is that when turning, you are best to turn off the autosteer and manually make the turn using the guidance system to line up the next pass and then turn autosteer back on.
