I only know of the Inspire 1 being a V1 or V2 version?  My Inspire 1 is a V2 and my Inspire 2 is just like yours T650A and both Q codes are different numbers as well.

so what are the different q codes for?

Hmm I can't figure that out either? I have 6 other DJI drones and the Inspire 2 is the only one that has 2 Q codes, my  Mavic Platinum has 2 and they say underneath App and more and the other is for your WiFi password but I really don't know on the Inspire 2. I did notice that my Inspire 1 V2 is a model #T601 and I think the V1 is a model #T600 so maybe the A on the end of the T650 ? Is the V2 version. Not sure maybe someone can clarify!

Hi all, the difference between Inspire 2 V1.0 and V2.0 user manual in the download page is the RC mounting bracket is different. The drone is the same. No worries.
@Paul, the SN underneath the battery compartment is the SN of the aircraft body, the SN inside of battery compartment is the SN of CineCore, which is used to purchase License. The model of Inspire 2 is T650A, where did you see T650?

Thanks again for your help. I am hoping to purchace DJI Care refresh for the Inspire later today, so should I use the cinecore # or the frame # to make sure that if it needs to be replaced that I can retain the licenses that are with it now?

Why has the maximum take off weight increased from 4000g (in V1.4 manual) to 4250g (in V2 manual)
Please explain this

actually, it's one thing more according to Mindy from DJI

"Hi all, the difference between Inspire 2 V1.0 and V2.0 user manual in the download page is the RC mounting bracket is different. The drone is the same. No worries."

so no big deal

That change is actually quite annoying for a lot of countries like mine make a legal distinction between RPA's 'up to and 4 kg' and 'above 4 kg' in terms of needed certifications!
Especilly since the drone hardware actually hasn't changed.

Also a lot of stores' websites if not all, still mention the 4.00 kg as MToW for the Inspire V2.

This is a rather unpleasant surprise, to say the least!

Forgot to add that private flying now is off limits in a lot of EU countries, given the takeoff weight is above 4kg.
Only fully certified flying under a complete and certified operational manual would be legal.
This is so crazy!

Haven't you realised at DJI that with this new MToW the drone over here in a lot of EU countries will be classified differently!
It now will only be possible to fly under full operational manual and only with fully certified pilots?

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!

Have you also noticed that the table with specs at the end of the 28-04-2018 version manual only mentions the T650, but with the increasd MToW of 4.25 kg?
This would mean that all Inspire 2 now officially classify as MToW > 4 kg!

I'd say that as I brought the I2 as advertised as under 4KG and that original  I2 manual is in my OM then thats the way it is. If however you purchased the I2 after the new release of the manual then you should adhere to the over 4KG classification.

You could download an original manual and use that in your OM.

Luckily in the UK the classification is between 7KG, but I hold a Spanish license that would be effected.

Pain in the butt!

Was just looking at the Inspire 2 in the DJI store and saw this picture.  What is the white cable on the undercarriage in this photo? Saftey cable in case of crash and gimbal breaks off?

Also looks like it now comes with a different Crystalsky like tablet/phone mount.
