Trying to figure out if mavic air supports control with 2 remote controllers at same time just like mavic pro does, but cannot find any information.
Does anybody know if this is possible?

There are other more basic features missing like the Gimbal FW/Down CF because they were deemed PRO features!!!! What makes you think that this would be in the MA feature set....

What about linking 2 controllers to one MA?
Can drone recognize both so I can choose witch control to use?

That I do not know for sure, but judging by the fact that switching from using your phone and the RC requires relinking I highly doubt that it would allow linking with more than one controller.

Does not exist air controller or phone. I would never use phone

Mavic Air does not support to connect two RCs at the same time. Sorry about this.

What about connect 1 RC, disconnect, and connect another one without re-linking drone?
So what I want: I fly with my RC shooting buddy, then hover drone near him, turn of my RC, he turns on his RC and connects to mavic air, and flies drone shooting me.

I guess MA will RTH or fly away when you turn off your RC.

What is Gimbal FW/Down CF?

Gimbal Forward/Down Custom Function. When you press one of the programmable buttons the gimbal camera moves in the down and you can see whats beneath you. When you press this button again it returns to the horizontal position. Useful when you want to quickly check whats underneath quickly especially if you have reduced the tilt speed in order to have more smooth footage.

Is it possible that in the next updates we will get such functionality?

Third party software allows you to control the gimbal of the other pilot.

I would prefer to pay DJI for a second account than for a third-party app.

Wouls my mavic air controller work with a dji mavic air that it didnt come with?

My drone is gone but I still have just the remote.
If I could just get the drone elsewhere would my remote worn with it?

Yes, it will. You can link any Mavic Air controller to any Mavic Air drone.
