Hi, totally new to all this (this forum, drone flying, DJI, etc) and I've flown my drone now 3-4 times and my video is really bad, hard to watch... Not sure what the problem is.

Also, I can't even describe what it's doing, so I'm going to attach 2 to see if anyone here can help, thx


Welp.... I guess I need help attaching a video 1st, I can't figure it out on this app. I've tried everything & every button & only my pics come up... How do I access my videos to attach here?

Upload your video to YouTube or DropBox or... some other cloud storage & create a public link to share.     Ask google.

Is that the video from the SD Card in Spark or the recording from an Android/IOS device?

It looks like a weak video link. Check video from the SD Card in Spark, or insert a SD Card into Spark if you haven't already & then check...

Good idea. The dropbox files are 720.
The problem may be a weak signal between Spark & the remote controller/device (remote controller antenna direction - face flat side towards Spark) - interference from other wifi or bluetooth sources,  or a software problem on the Android/IOS device with the latest versions.

I never inserted the SD card, completely forgot about that.....that recording was from my phone that I saved in Dropbox. All the recordings look EXACTLY the same, no matter what or where I record.

I will add SD card today & try it, thanks.

While flying, I checked connections & all seemed good....plus we are talking about 3 diff flights in 3 diff locations that all came out the exact same way (I only posted 2).

You need to buy an MicroSDXC Card like this which is capable of Recording at 1080p. For 1080p always buy a Class 10 or Higher, as it will have a Fast Writing Speed.



The Video from the Phone is very poor quality especially when you have disconnects.



If you are having disconnects in your Video Feed try using OTG Cable when connecting Phone to Remote. The Video Feed is used just incase you have an accident and you need video footage as evidence. The quality is very minimum so that it won't take lots of processing power and storage space. Video Caches is usually overwritten according to the Settings you choose.

Wow, that was really helpful....I didnt know any of that, never seen that mentioned in all the videos I watched, thanks.

A few questions....the guy didnt explain how to transfer it faster to my computer/tablet if I want to see the better version?

Also, is this the correct memory card to use (see attached)?

I tried an OTG cable and it never connected (tried 3-4 times) & my phone just cut off....I had to charge it to get it to come back on (maybe I had the wrong type cord), so Im scared to try it again. I have a Samsung S8, so it has the C-type connector. I couldnt find a mini usb B type to C type cord.

Ok I think I got everything figured out now, thanks for all yall help....here's a few pics & videos of my 1st "real" flights!

  Well done.

I'm guessing your phone may not have enough processing power or memory and is unable to successfully record & display the video at the same time.
Now that you can record on the SD Card inside Spark, try turning the video cache off within the DJI Go 4 app & see if that improves the video displayed on the phone.

The video from Spark indeed is only 1080
But the video from your phone.is just a 720p stream
