Can the P4A + take snapshots while video is being filmed ??? I think Iwas able to do this with another P4A but my new one does seem to do this..Please reply with experience in this matter not opinions  Thanks..

You can but they will only be the same as screenshots from the video and as such will not be the same quality as you get when shooting stills only.

Thanks, I tried to snap a photo while doing video and I didn't hear the mechanical shutter..

I shoot 4K video with my P4A exclusively.   It enables me to get POST pictures with excellent resolution.   No need to worry about snapping photos at 20mp.    Just my .02.   

You can only get jpg stills while you are shooting video.

Please follow the advice in 6#. And the resolution of PIV can be checked in specs. Please ensure that you insert SD cards at that time.
