Are the Floating Balls made out of Jablo or PVC ? Did you need to re-enforce them so they wont fall or drop ?

Hello Charlie,

Yes infact I saw them a little different, and wasn't sure they are like mine.

I suggest that you drill a small hole at the bottom of each leg extender, use some self tapping stainless screws with some washers so the balls don't drop off if you have a hard landing.

Also do you think its better to secure the cups with some small cable ties ? Just for the tight fit ?

A good idea to secure balls to legs - contact glue?l  I would not want to use cable ties - overkill I think and more time in setting up and packing up.

It looks funny. Did it work well? Please be careful as it add extra weight of your spark.

Electra thanks for the warning.  Worked brilliantly and they are very light. I wiuld take care if windy as they do and quite a bit of windage.

I did send the black legs back and swapped for transparent as the black hides the LEDs.  No re-infrcement needed. The balls on mine re polystyrene i think. But works well.

I have the same set Charlie ! Welldone.


I saw some videos where they reinforce them with a bit of Hot Gun Glue. So if you land a bit hard on the water they won't pop out.
