Hello,

With some specific reasons, I looking for gimbal which can controlled by smartphone application.

And if there's no such a thing, may I need to
- Tweak RC controller to communicate with smartphone
[ Smartphone --> WIFI(or BT) --> RC Controller --> Gimbal ]
- or make specific RF module which can communicate with smartphone.
[ Smartphone --> WIFI(or BT) --> RF module --> Gimbal ]

Tips and suggestions would be very appreciated!

DJI’s inspire and Phantom 3 gimbal can realize app controlling the camera fuction, take picutures, recording, ect.  Gimbal's movement are controlled by remote controller.

Yes but so far I know SDK support is only limited to Inspire and Phantom yet.

Since I have to mount SONY Nex5 DSLR camera so my entire system would be
"S1000 + Zenmuse Z15 + SONY Nex5 DSLR camera"

So I'm focusing on controlling Zenmuse Z15, if there's similarity between Phantom & Zenmuse
or there's possibility to tweak SDK to control Zenmuse please let me know about it.

Thanks in advance!

Okay, thanks for your concern anyway : )

Actually I'm new to this area and now I reading Zenmuse manual but hardly getting picture
how to control it.

1. To control Zenmuse, typical RC controller at ground is mandatory, right?
    and it use RF signal(sub-Ghz freq like 3~400Mhz)?
2. Then WHICH ONE is receiving RF signal at air?
    Is "RC Controller(Ground) -> GCU(Air) -> Zenmuse Z15(Air)"
    or "RC controller(Ground) -> Some device(Air) -> GCU(Air) -> Zenmuse Z15(Air)"?
    I guess it's latter because GCU seems have no RF module inside, could you let me know about it?

Thanks,
Jay

Hello,

Sorry for my ignorance but you could you specify "outer receiver" more in detail?
(Like DJI's model name, user's manual... etc)

Thanks,
Jay
